January 4, 2006, San Carlos, Ca.
Cardio Logic with its strategic partner DeltaAero Science, will be exhibiting its new realtime orthorectification workstation, known as the Geo100M, at the AFCEA West 2006 Trade Show in San Diego, Ca., from January 10 to January 12, 2006. The Geo100M will be demonstrating Cardio Logic's remarkably fast processing capability for earth imagery.
September 29, 2005, San Carlos, Ca. Today, Cardio Logic, Inc. announced its special software offer to help in the Katrina / Rita recovery effort. The company is making available free high speed orthorectification software licenses for 6 months, for satellite imagery provided by the QuickBird, IKONOS, and OrbView imagers. Images collected before, during and after the storms struck the US Gulf Coast, can be mosaiced, fused or blended with aerial imagery to provide a quick evaluation or to assess damage.
Cardio Logic’s software will provide a view of the imagery from space that can be seen in a nadir prospective and will be corrected for spatial and terrain distortions. This allows for a very accurate map like orientation of the imagery that can be draped over terrain models or merged with existing maps or imagery from other sensors to form an accurate mosaic of the entire affected region. Objects of interest within the imagery can be geo-located by moving a cursor over the digital image and reading out the latitude and longitude information for the object of interest.
Available to agencies and not-for- profit organizations (for a period of six months) who are actively supporting the Katrina/Rita recovery effort, Cardio Logic will make the software available as a web site download or by CD. An ENVI software license is required and may be obtained from Research Systems Inc.. www.rsinc.com

September 22, 2005, San Carlos, Ca. Cardio Logic announces the introduction of its Fast Orthorectification Workstation known as the "Geo100M". The Geo100M combines Cardio Logic's proven orthorectification software with high speed hardware in a workstation that processes images 10 to 30 times faster than any commercially available software. Test results show that for a 1.6GB image which could take up to 3 hours for processing, the Geo100M was able to complete processing in under 5 minutes. For video images, the Geo100M is the first commercially available product for delivery of orthorectified images in real time.
Wil Sproul, vice president of marketing said "This is a major step forward in image processing that contributes in processing productivity and in delivering images faster than using conventional technology" Mr. Sproul continued " We are proud to be announcing this technology at a time when satellite and aerial images are so important in dealing with homeland security and emergency situations."

San Carlos, Ca. April 17, 2003 Cardio Logic, Inc.
announced the release of a new software product to orthorectify and mosaic images
created by DigitalGlobe’s high resolution QuickBird satellite. With the recent
emphasis on the need for geo-location accuracy, and the availability of very
precise imagery from the QuickBird satellite, the release of Cardio Logic’s
Mojave QB software adds a new ability to precisely locate objects of interest
within an image.
Operating from a low cost Windows based PC or lap top
computer Mojave QB software will input a raw satellite image and then apply
high speed processing algorithms to both the image and rigorous sensor metrics
provided by DigitalGlobe. The output is a precisely rectified and
geo-referenced array of digital pixels that forms a corrected image for
viewing, mosaics, or further processing. Each pixel is modified by the software
to correct for inherent errors caused by platform stability, pointing angle
anomalies or optical distortions. Defined by DigitalGlobe and supplied with the
raw image as part of their Rigorous Sensor Model (RSM), the auxiliary data is
used by Mojave to generate a Sensor Error Model (SEM) that is then used in the
orthorectification process.
“Typically a raw QuickBird image might provide
geo-location accuracies of 30 meters, which is exceptionally good, explains Don
Gordon, VP of engineering at Cardio Logic. “But our Mojave QB software will
further improve the accuracy by also applying terrain information from Digital
Elevation Models, (DEM) and known ground control point data (GCP) to the
orthorectification process.” By adding your own ground truth data and the Rigorous
Sensor Model information to the image the highest possible level of accuracy
can be achieved. “It is not uncommon to see sub-pixel geo-location accuracy
when two or more ground control points are used as part of the
orthorectification process,” says Don. “Our test and evaluation results
indicate that Mojave QB offers a significant improvement over raw imagery for
geo-referencing purposes and greatly enhances the rapid creation of mosaics.”
Mojave QB and other software is available for purchase and free evaluation licenses may be downloaded from Cardio’s web at www.cardiofx.com For technical or application information Don Gordon may be reached at dgordon@cardiofx.com or by phone at 650 622 9078.
August 21, 2002, San Carlos, Ca. Cardio Logic is pleased to announce that Research Systems Inc has awarded a Value Added Reseller Agreement to Cardio Logic to sell ENVI and other products in association with Cardio's Mojave 3.0 orthorectification software. Three Windows versions of Mojave are now available for delivery: 1) Mojave 3.0 Airphoto, 2) Mojave 3.0 IKONOS and 3) Mojave 3.0 OBC. Other versions are under development which include a plug-in for QuickBird and a package for UNIX/LINUX operated platforms.
Mojave 3.0 operates as a plug-in to ENVI and offers the ability to quickly orthorectify large digital images from airborne and spaceborn platforms as well as digitized film images. Mojave operates under Windows from a low cost PC platform and in addition to high speed orthorectification makes available all the outstanding features that exist within the host ENVI software.

February
20, 2002, San Carlos, Ca. Cardio
Logic announces the release of MOJAVE 3.0, a software package for high - speed
orthorectification of very large digital images. Based on software algorithms
developed for the 3D visualization and graphics industry, MOJAVE 3.0 offers
orthorectification and mosaicing in near – real time. MOJAVE in its initial
release is designed to support Kodak’s Research Systems, Inc. (RSI) advanced
remote sensing and GIS software package ENVI. Other releases are pending
including standalone versions for production applications and versions for
other popular third party software packages. MOJAVE 3.0 when used with ENVI as
its software base reduces the time to orthorectify, register, and mosaic large
images from hours to minutes. A
hardware version of MOJAVE is planned for on-platform applications that will
operate in real time. Quickly correcting sensor distortion, platform pointing
angle and other distortion causing anomalies from the image is accomplished
through the orthorectification software process. This allows other software packages designed for target location,
automatic recognition and such to work more efficiently. After testing several
available software packages, Don Gordon, VP of engineering at Cardio Logic
chose ENVI as the base platform for the initial release of MOJAVE. “ENVI
offered the perfect opportunity for Cardio to test the capability of our new
software. The flexibility and power of
Kodak RSI's IDL on which ENVI is based saved us many weeks of design time and
allowed us to concentrate on what we do best: creating the fastest running
orthorectification product. The enhancement-oriented design of ENVI allowed us
to easily integrate our code without complicating the user interface".
